Maurice is an accomplished investor with a proven track record in investing in consumer, technology, and B2B SaaS companies. His focus is on the ever-changing needs of future consumers. He’s currently an investor at BAM Ventures, a $50M fund in Los Angeles, where he focuses on pre-seed and seed investments across those categories and leverages his
domain expertise to help his portfolio companies scale. His cross-industry network and experience have been critical in gaining early access to promising entrepreneurs and companies. Investments include companies like ClassPass, Honey, Scopely, and ModernHealth.
Before shifting into his investment roles, Maurice was a designer and strategist for luxury brands, such as Ferrari and Porsche. He helped build Porsche's incubator which propelled him into the venture ecosystem. Maurice also holds a degree in Transportation Design from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and a Master's of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from USC in Los Angeles. Before moving to the US, he has lived in several countries, including Germany, France, Italy, and the UK.
