Matt is an entrepreneur, innovator, and all around problem solver. He is currently the co-founder and CTO of a nationally recognized IoT startup, Ivani. At Ivani, he leads the technical team in their endeavors driving the IP strategy for the company. With over a dozen granted patents (and many pending applications), he has a wealth of experience in
creating valuable IP throughout his career.
Matt has worked collaboratively with a range of partners and educational institutions to drive various market innovations across a range of technical areas. He has worked with professor and student teams both at MIT and the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering to develop new concepts together with those teams. Of note, two of those efforts resulted in new patent applications for the involved teams.
Early in his career, Matt was a Systems Engineer at DRS where he worked on a variety of different DoD technical challenges. His technical versatility lead him to the Advanced Programs Group where he was involved with a range of challenging efforts aimed at new business initiatives.
Matt's degrees include a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and he has received certifications as an Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) from INCOSE and as an Associate TRIZ Practitioner.
