Matthew Sappern is CEO and a director of PeriGen, a developer of clinical decision support software for the hospital market.
Prior to PeriGen, Sappern served as a corporate officer and in leadership roles at software vendor Allscripts (Eclipsys); at various times heading client sales, professional services, technical (data center) services and
product development. Sappern joined Alscripts from WebMD where he headed a strategic development team.
Sappern also has extensive background in the media industry, serving as director of satellite distribution at Home Box Office and VP of marketing and business development at Brill Media.
Sappern graduated Emory University in 1989 with a BA in Political Science.
