Matt Hasik was named executive vice president for Commercial Business in January 2015 and is a member of Bell Helicopter’s Executive Leadership Team.
In his current role, Matt is responsible for leading the sales, marketing and product development strategy for Bell Helicopter’s current and next generation commercial products, including program
execution for new programs and product upgrades.
Previously, Matt served as the senior vice president for Commercial Programs. In 2015, the Commercial Sales and Marketing organization was combined with Commercial Programs, establishing the commercial business unit.
Matt joined Bell Helicopter in 2006 and has served in a variety of leadership roles in Engineering and Integrated Operations before becoming the V-22 Program Manager in 2012. Previous roles include serving as the chief engineer for the V-22 program, leading the design and development team for the Bell 525 Relentless’ rotor and drive systems, value stream manager in Integrated Operations and growth strategy manager, in Integrated Operations.
Before joining Bell Helicopter, Matt served as a U.S. Navy Officer and engineer in a variety of roles, including as a “waterfront” program manager for the four-year $4B nuclear refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69).
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from Duke University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
