Matt Funge is the Founder and sole shareholder of ExpoPlan.io, the all-in-one project management platform designed specifically for the global exhibition industry. Leading the vision and growth of ExpoPlan.io, Matt works closely with organisers, agencies, and suppliers to simplify complex event operations, streamline workflows, and deliver
measurable efficiency gains through technology.
With over a decade of hands-on experience delivering exhibition and display projects across Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, and Asia, Matt combines deep industry expertise with a passion for innovation. His global track record has equipped him with a unique ability to adapt to diverse cultural and operational contexts, ensuring tailored solutions for a wide range of client needs.
Matt is also Founder and majority shareholder of Expo Ventures Group, a family-run event technology business, and was awarded the UFI Next Generation Leadership Grant in 2020 in recognition of his innovative thinking and leadership in the exhibition sector.
Holding a BA (Hons) in French Studies from the University of Manchester, and having lived in the UK, USA, and France, Matt brings an international perspective to every project. He is passionate about shaping the future of the global events industry, championing the role of technology in enhancing brand experiences, operational efficiency, and audience engagement.
