Matt is the Head of Government at Descartes Labs. Matt has more than seventeen years of experience growing software and service businesses across the US, EMEA, and Asia in government and commercial markets. Matt has held numerous executive and consultancy positions throughout his career, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer at PlanetRisk, a
company that delivered enterprise geospatial risk analytics and customized big data solutions. He was the first employee at Strategic Social, a government focused technology and services firm, which was sold to Constellis in 2014.
Matt received his BS in Political Science from East Carolina University and his MA in Defense and Security from Lancaster University.
