Matt followed his dream of a career in finance right into the open outcry pits of Chicago before transitioning to portfolio management and fundamental investment research in New York City.
After more than a decade in finance, Matt decided to take a break from institutional investments and embarked on his own (cleaner) version of Easy Rider,
traveling from coast-to-coast on his motorcycle.
Upon returning to New York City, Matt discovered that the city’s tech startup scene provided an even bigger thrill than his motorcycle. He co-founded FieldLens in 2011 and hasn’t looked back.
