Before AMEC, Matt worked at Sanmina-SCI where he served as corporate counsel.
Prior to that, he spent seven years at Foster City, California-based Applied Biosystems, where he served as senior counsel and manager of the legal department international group, leading the company's overseas legal affairs.
His career includes senior legal
positions at a mix of multi-billion-dollar corporations and emerging, venture-backed entities, including in-house service at semiconductor emulation/simulation leader Quickturn Design Systems and on the original founding team of Napster.
Matt received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law and a certificate in international and comparative law from Magdalen College, Oxford.
He is a member of the California State Bar.
