Matt Pakes is a Co-Founder and Principal Engineer at Bazaar Labs, a company building web and mobile applications powered by the real-time social stream. He is currently focused on building the technology behind web and mobile applications for Bazaar Labs, including real-time filtering and classification systems.
Prior to Bazaar Labs, Matt specialized in system architecture and real-time embedded systems at several enterprise storage and network security startups, including Storspeed and TippingPoint Technologies. Previously, he worked at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, developing embedded software and hardware for the Atlas V launch vehicle.
Matt completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2003, specializing in computer architecture and digital logic design.
