Matt is the Head of Investments at Allocate, where he oversees research & due diligence and investment activity for the firm. Prior to Allocate, Matt spent nearly two decades as an investor and allocator within private markets. He has been involved with the management and oversight, including LP advisory board roles, of several hundred general
partner relationships across the full spectrum of private capital investment strategies and over the course of his career, was responsible, directly and indirectly as an investment committee member for over $8 billion of commitments to private markets funds and co-investments. Most recently, Matt co-managed the alternatives portfolio of MetLife and prior to that, led all private equity investment activity as the Head of Private Equity at Hirtle Callaghan, a large independent OCIO. Matt began his career at Hamilton Lane Advisors, working in a variety of capacities, both in client service and investment roles. Matt is a CAIA charterholder.
