Matt Butner serves as Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Stride Health, Inc. Matt Butner served as Director - Media and Brand Research and Vice President of InsightExpress, LLC. Matt Butner provided strategic research recommendations and thought leadership to clients, while overseeing the methodological design and analytics for it's
research solutions. He joined InsightExpress from Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners of Sausalito, CA. There, he held the position of Director of Analytics, responsible for building and managing the agency's data analytics capabilities. Specific services included insights and optimization of campaigns and Web experiences, quantitative market research, and communication planning. He also managed client relationships and played a contributing role in presenting and winning key client accounts. In addition, he was responsible for the development and integration of new technologies and tools into the agency, including analytics-specific tools, media technologies, and consumer facing interactive technologies. Prior to BSS&P, He held the position of Data Strategist Manager at McCann-Erickson in San Francisco. During his time there, he led the development and deployment of large scale, high profile research initiatives for a leading global technology company. He also developed internal analysis and visualization tools for McCann, which were respectively focused on campaign optimization and correlating media investment to brand tracking measures. Before joining McCann-Erickson, He worked as a Research Programmer at Keck Cluster Research / National Science Foundation. His publications include The Virtual Processor Interface: Linux Kernel Support for User-Level Thread Systems in Proceedings of 15th International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing Systems. He holds both an MS and a BS in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
