Mathilde Lemoine is the Group Chief Economist at Edmond de Rothschild group since January 2016. Mathilde reports directly to Ariane de Rothschild, Chair of the group Executive Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Mathilde has worked in various French ministerial cabinets, notably as an Advisor on macroeconomic and tax issues to the Prime
Minister.
Previously, Mathilde was Head of Economic Research and Market Strategy at HSBC France from 2006 to 2015.
Mathilde has also held roles of Lecturer / Researcher, notably at Sciences Po Paris on macroeconomics.
Mathilde serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Carrefour and the Ecole Normale Supérieure.
Since 2013, Mathilde has been a Member of the Haut Conseil des Finances Publiques.
Mathilde is also part of the scientific council of the Cité de l’Economie et de la Monnaie.
Mathilde holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics (Paris Dauphine University) and graduated from IEP Paris.
