Mathew has been part of the pioneering group at R2G since crossing over to the music industry from a previous long career in the advertising industry which encompassed the early days of the dot com boom and utilizing his expertise in the online space.
At R2G, he is deeply involved in product development strategies and also plays a leading role in
shaping business models for the monetization of mobile and full-length music, and also in the acquisition of content. He also led the development of the largest global Chinese music metadata database in the world and started one of the first and largest legal online independent music services in China - wawawa (wa3.cn). In addition, Mathew brings to market the skills to bridge the huge divide in Western and Chinese approaches to intellectual property.
