Mary Brooks is the Senior Business Analyst at Prince William County. She previously worked as the Assistant Executive Director of Finance and Administration of ARL. Her responsibilities include management of the day-to-day operations of ARL, fiscal and human resource management, and physical plant operations.
In addition, she engages in
programmatic and financial discussions in consultation with the ARL executive director and deputy executive director. Mary Jane also supervises the ARL support staff as well as plans the logistics for the ARL Membership Meetings held twice each year.
Prior to joining ARL in 1993 as its office manager, Mary Jane was a manager of office services for Omicron Investments in Washington, DC, and was responsible for human resources, tenant relations, office management, banking relationships, and purchases. She also worked with the executive director of grants at Omicron’s Foundation and learned valuable insight into the granting process from a grantor point of view. She has also held positions of staff accountant and head teller supervisor in the Washington area.
She holds a BA in economics and enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband and daughter.
