As Entrepreneur-in-Residence since May 2013, Martin Naley is building a molecular medicine informatics platform. Through his work, Apple Tree will help shape the transformation in health care that is being driven through genomic medicine analytics and patient empowerment. Martin brings to this task extensive experience and deep understanding of
digital strategies in health care genomics. Prior to his role at Apple Tree Partners, Martin was the Head of Medical Science Informatics at Life Technologies, a global biotechnology company and a pioneer in genomic technology platforms.
Martin Naley joined Invitrogen, a predecessor company to Life Technologies, in 1997. Prior to his role in Medical Sciences, Martin Naley founded the Genetic Care Interchange, a global network enabling comparative genomic medicine. He has held the position of Chief of Staff to the CEO, which helped to shape the company’s business strategies for molecular medicine. He has held various sales, marketing, business development, and general management positions including Vice President of the Cell Culture Research business unit. Martin Naley holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management.
