Martin Guy joined INO as Project Manager in the Photonics Group, where he conducted R&D activities related to passive components, optical amplifiers and instrumentation for WDM communication systems.
In 1998, he became Head of Technology for the Optical Communications team at INO. In April 2000, he co-founded TeraXion and acted as the CTO of
the company.
His role at TeraXion includes the elaboration of the products and technology roadmaps, management of R&D activities as well as establishing the strategic directions for the company.
Martin holds B.Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universite Laval in Quebec City. He is a member of the IEEE Photonics Society, the Optical Society of America (OSA), the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) and the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ).
He has worked in the fields of photonics and optical communications for more than 25 years, has over 100 publications presented at international conferences and in journals and holds 5 patents.
