Markus Schnitzlein serves as a CEO at Chromasens.
The physics graduate is a laureate of the prestigious Heraeus Foundation. He won the award for his research into thin layers with the help of surface plasmons. For 10 years he held leading positions in the ‘Scanning and Image Processing’ fields, first at CGK Computer Gesellschaft Konstanz mbH and
then, after the takeover, at Océ Document Technologies GmbH. In 2004, together with Martin Hund, he took over management of the newly founded Chromasens GmbH as part of a management buyout. Markus Schnitzlein has been head of the ‘Spectral Modulation Light Source’ research project in cooperation with the Chemnitz University of Technology since 2004.
