Markus Bohunovsky studied computer science at the Technische Universitaet Wien (technical university of Vienna, Austria). After moving to the United States he worked with various non-profit organizations in the area of desktop publishing and computer design. In 1998 he started at Canto Software as the Manager of their US Technical Support division.
He later took over the role of Product Manager for a short time and eventually became Canto’s Director of Technical Services. After 6 years with Canto, Markus left Canto to found Modula4 with Michael Gellner.
At the end of 2010 Markus retired from the position as CEO and continues to advise the company as a member of its board and as a consultant.
