Mark is President and CEO of Cellbie Inc. (www.cellbie.com), a software tech company which has created a disruptive marketplace for used mobile devices in North America and established a market leadership position in Canada.
As a career general management executive in the telecommunications industry, Mark was the Country Director and Region Head
at Nokia Siemens Networks Canada, responsible for establishing the vision, leadership, strategies and results for the Communication Service Provider segment in Canada. Nokia Networks is a global leader in wireless and wireline infrastructure products and Mark led the Canadian business to exceptional growth. The former Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Networks Inc. (Canada), Mark’s telecommunication career spans sales, marketing, business development, service, product management and manufacturing, split between Canada and the US.
Mark is a 40-year industry veteran with strength in business and organizational leadership. His extensive technology background combined with exceptional communication skills and passion to achieve results inspires both customers and employees. Mark delivers sustained value and integrity to an organization through an intense customer focus and an open, straightforward communication style.
Mark has also held executive positions with Zhone Technologies in Oakland, California and Nortel Networks in Atlanta, Georgia, Maidenhead, U.K. and Brampton, Ontario. Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, holds several advisory board positions and is a past Advisory Board member to the Masters of Engineering in Telecommunications (MET) at the University of Toronto and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. Mark is a citizen of Canada and the USA and currently resides in Ontario.
