Mark Van Kirk is the president of Compatriot Capital. Mark Van Kirk is responsible for transaction structure and execution, as well as the evaluation, underwriting and management of Compatriot's investments. Prior to joining Compatriot Capital, Mark was a vice president and partner in E2M Partners, a private real estate equity fund manager.
Previously, he was a partner in the Dallas office of the law firm Baker Botts L.L.P., an international law firm of about 700 attorneys. Mark is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University. He obtained a law degree from The University of Chicago School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 1982.
