With 30 years industry experience, Mark brings a huge depth and breadth of technical knowledge and experience to the team.
Mark started his career with STC, where he worked on the design and development of a number of complex defence projects. After the acquisition of STC by Nortel Networks in the early 1990s, Mark took a leading role in the
design and development of the Nortel Proximity-I 3.5GHz last mile Fixed Wireless Access system.
On leaving Nortel, Mark joined Wavetek, Wandle and Goltermann as head of a new division specialising in remote test solutions for telecommunications networks.
Eleven years ago, Mark was a key member of the team that started PipingHot Networks. His primary role was Director of Product Management, but on a ‘spare time’ basis Mark managed acquiring premises, procuring equipment, recruiting staff and driving initial direction. After re-investment, PHN was re-born, in 2002, as the hugely successful Orthogon Systems, eventually acquired by Motorola in 2006.
Mark continued working for Motorola in various senior technical roles until the end of 2010.
