Mark is a staff attorney at EFF, focusing primarily on access to information, government secrecy, and national security issues. As part of EFF's Transparency Project, Mark regularly represents EFF in cases under the federal Freedom of Information Act. As a result of his transparency work, tens of thousands of pages of previously secret
government documents have been made available to the public. Mark is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. In his spare time, he likes doing the New York Times crossword puzzle and cheering for disappointing sports teams.
