Mark McIntyre is the Chief Technology Officer for Songkick, the world's leading artist-ticketing and concert discovery platform.
McIntyre is a seasoned engineering leader, with extensive experience in building and leading cross-functional technical teams in high-growth environments and startups. McIntyre initially joined CrowdSurge, a
direct-to-fan ticketing company, in 2014 where he led development and execution of the company’s white-label ticketing platform as Vice President of Engineering. As CrowdSurge merged with Songkick in 2015 to become the world’s largest concert discovery and ticketing service, McIntyre became Chief Technology Officer and currently leads a pioneering team credited with developing a patented technology able to identify and prevent scalpers and bots from purchasing concert tickets, while supporting global artist ticketing sales for thousands of events and hundreds of artists per year.
Prior to Songkick, Mark built and scaled technology teams in London, Sydney and New York at companies ranging from early stage startups to Yahoo. He received a BSc, Hons in Physics from the University College of London, and is currently based in Songkick’s London office.
