Mark is the co-founder and Managing Director at DC Capital Group, an independent financial advisory firm focused on infrastructure companies, asset-backed investments and corporate special situations working on an international basis. He has been an Executive Director of numerous operating companies during the past 25 years, and has a broad
experience in the commercial real estate sector , with a specific expertise on a global basis in the data center industry.
He is presently an advisor to several family office’s where he is responsible for oversight of both corporate and property investments, and is presently a Director and advisor to several companies both in the US and UK in the technology, sports and hospitality, and property sectors.
Prior to forming DC Capital he operated a strategic interim contracting company for 15 years allowing for principal activities, consulting assignments and the ability to be contracted on a pre-determined period as an Executive Manager. In this capacity he worked as the European Managing Director for Digital Realty Trust (NYSE:DLR), where he was solely responsible over a two-year period for the acquisition of over 1,200,000 square feet of existing data center assets and sites with development opportunities totaling in excess of €200,000,000 in value in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands.
He was appointed as the CEO of Clearblue Technologies for the purpose of acquiring Colo.com , a bankrupt co-location company with invested capital of $450 million, and then after internal growth oversaw the consolidation of operations from other numerous distressed companies acquired in a roll up strategy which lead to the reverse merger into a publically traded company called Navisite.
Prior to this, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer, and Regional Director, Americas for Global Switch, and prior to joining Global Switch, Mr. Lambourne co-founded and was the Managing Director of ASI International, a global real estate technology firm serving the Fortune 2000.
He started his career working at Andrew Associates, a receivership and Work out turn-around company specializing in Hospitality assets, commercial property and asset based companies where he ultimately became the Managing Director of the firm.
He has a MA from the University of California, Berkeley, and BA Hons from the University of Kent.
