Mr. Tyson has been designing and developing contact lenses and 10Ls in both R&D and manufacturing environments for over 20 years. Prior to joining Visioneering Technologies, Tyson provided consulting for several contact lens companies in the areas of lens design and overall process improvement. He spent a majority of his career at Bausch &
Lomb, where his most recent role was Engineering Manager for one of its manufacturing sites heading up the Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance and Environmental Health & Safety departments for the class I (10L inserters). class II (contact lenses), and class III (10Ls) device manufacturer. He has also worked at Permeable Technologies, Inc. / The LifeStyle Company, holding positions in lens design, regulatory affairs and quality. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in Operations Management and Computers & Information Systems from the University of Rochester.
