Mark started his career training to become a mechanical engineer. Having completed a four year apprenticeship he left industry and spent 14 years as a full time lecturer, teaching at a further education college on computer aided engineering and product visualisation. He was enticed to leave teaching to join GX where he has been for the past 24
years.
At GX Mark initially worked on a wide variety of projects as a mechanical engineer, before being asked to take on the role of managing director in 2007. Mark has brought cohesion to the business by marrying the three divisions, product design with control system development and their water resource management specialists GX Environmental, creating one international business.
