Mark began his professional career in law enforcement in 1981. He received specialized training in major organized crimes and was assigned to the Anti-Terrorist Task Force for four years, he retired in 1993. After leaving law enforcement, he received the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner from the Organization of Certified Fraud Examiners, as
well as Insurance and Internal Theft related certificates. He subsequently became the SIU Manager for a National based insurance company. In 1992, Mark founded Safety Investigative Services (SIS) and provided Investigative and Fraud Prevention services to numerous Fortune 500 Insurance Companies nationwide. The company grew and diversified, adding Pre-Employment and Security Services in 2004 and was subsequently re-named as FPK Security.
