A psychologist by training, Dr. Chae served as Senior Researcher, Consultant, and Lead Architect for Ai-Blockchain. He worked closely with AiB's Executive Team with the aim of growing the organization from a seed level company to a Series A and beyond. AiB strives to achieve excellence through establishing clear goals and executing the
required actions to achieve long-term objectives. Given that innovation is a core value that undergirds AiB's overarching mission, the organization remains steadfast in identifying and testing novel concepts and applications that span across diverse sectors of society.
Dr. Chae is a professor of psychology and counseling at Pillar College, NJ and served as research consultant at JFK Medical Center, Family Medicine Program, Edison, NJ. He is a researcher, diversity and organizational consultant, and licensed psychotherapist. He has published 28 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, presented over 100 papers at professional conferences, and was co-editor of Culturally Responsive Counseling with Asian American Men (Routledge). He has served on editorial boards of professional journals including Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development (2006-2014), Journal of Counseling and Development (2006 to 2015), Counseling and Values Journal (2007 to 2013) and the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling (2011 to 2013); he has also served as an ad-hoc reviewer for several journals such as Men & Masculinity, Policing, Family Medicine, Journal of Black Psychology, and journal, Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology. Dr. Chae has held academic appointments as an assistant professor at both William Paterson University and Rutgers University, New Brunswick, as well as Associate Professor Rutgers School of Health Sciences, Newark, NJ.
