Mark Boone is our Chief Development Officer, leading NewSchools’ strategic resource development program to grow and diversify our funding base.
Previously, Mark served as Assistant Vice Chancellor at the University of California, San Francisco. He managed the development and alumni relations programs for the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine
(Education), Nursing, and Pharmacy, as well as the Graduate Division. He led the first education fundraising initiative for the campus, which exceeded its four-year goal by 50% with a final total of $150 million. Mark began his development career as an advancement officer at Tulane University in New Orleans. He is originally from North Carolina, and currently lives in San Francisco.
