Marissa Andrada is a Board of Director at Krispy Kreme. Marissa supports the Starbucks Partner Resources Organization (PRO) around the world, including Total Rewards, PRO operations, partner engagement and business partner teams. In this role she reports to chief community officer, Blair Taylor and serves as a key member of the Starbucks senior
leadership team.
Marissa joined Starbucks in 2011 as senior vice president of Partner Resources for the US & Americas region where she worked with the leadership team to develop programs that elevated leaders and engaged partners which helped to enable the growth of the US & Americas retail business.
Marissa brings over 20 years of human resources experience and leadership skills to this role. Before Starbucks, she was the head of Human Resources for GameStop Corporation where her team was instrumental in growing the retail and digital footprint of the business through building leadership and management capability.
Prior to joining GameStop in 2007, Marissa spent ten years as the head of Human Resources at start-up and high growth organizations including Xdrive Technologies, ValleyCrest Companies and Red Bull North America where she revamped and established HR functions as a strategic business partner which were key to each company’s growth and total consumer brand. Marissa began her career in various HR generalist and management roles at Unisys Corporation, Pepsi Restaurants International/Pizza Hut and Universal Studios.
Marissa has Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Marissa is a native Southern Californian, and is enjoying life with her family in Seattle
