As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Office, Marcus B. Shipley leads Trinity Information Services (TIS), providing direction and oversight for information technology that supports Trinity Health’s strategic imperatives for improving quality of care, patient safety and financial performance. He is responsible for developing and
implementing information system strategies across Trinity Health, one of the nation’s largest Catholic health care systems. Shipley joined Trinity Health, which operates 94 hospitals in 22 states and has about $17.6 billion in revenue.
Prior to joining Trinity Health, Shipley worked for CIGNA, a health services organization, where he served most recently as Vice President Information Technology, IT Infrastructure and Operations. He joined CIGNA in 2008 as Vice President Information Technology, Architecture, Sourcing and Business Management.
