Manuel Gerres is one of the two Managing Directors of Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures GmbH (DBDV), the corporate venture arm of Deutsche Bahn, and also serves as Head of New Digital Business at Deutsche Bahn. In his roles, he drives the digitalization strategy of Deutsche Bahn and their engagement with startups in and beyond Deutsche Bahn's
core businesses. Before joining the Deutsche Bahn Group in 2016, he led the Digital Development of SBB, the Swiss Federal Railway company, for over four years.
