Manolo Cipolla is an Italian executive with over 20 years of experience in the transportation sector and managing large organizations. Currently serving as President with operational delegated powers of Cotral Spa, he is also a member of the Board of Directors of RFI - Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and Vice-Chairman of AGENS - Agenzia Confederale
Trasporti e Servizi.
He began his professional career in 2002 at Cotral Spa and in 2007 at CotralPatrimonio S.p.A., where he held roles related to administrative activities, including passive invoicing and document management for the procurement of goods and services. Starting in 2009, he took on roles of increasing responsibility in companies such as Trambus S.p.A., Met.Ro S.p.A., and ATAC S.p.A., gaining solid expertise in general affairs management, technical-industrial procurement, and business operations optimization. In 2014, Manolo Cipolla founded Romana Parts S.r.l., a company specializing in supplying spare parts for the transportation sector, which he led until 2024. In 2023, he joined the Board of Directors of RFI - Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, where he contributed to developing strategies for enhancing Italy’s railway infrastructure. In 2024, he was appointed President with operational delegated powers of Cotral Spa, the public company of the Lazio Region operating in extra-urban public transport. In July 2025, he was also appointed as Vice President of AGENS - Confederation Agency for Transport and Services.
