Manfred did parallel studies in Biochemistry and Computer Science at the University of Tübingen, followed by a PhD in machine learning at ETH Zürich. For his postdoctoral studies, Manfred moved to the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Stanford. In 2013 he became a group leader and Assistant Professor at ETH Zürich. His research is focused on
computational single-cell biology in the context of cancer, infectious diseases and immune disorders.
Manfred is responsible for the scientific and clinical collaborations at Scailyte, which are fueling our technological and IP portfolios.
