Maneesh Jain, Senior Global Equity Analyst, focuses on fundamental analysis in the health care sector including major pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceuticals, managed care, and generic pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining DCM in 2006, Dr. Jain was a Vice President in the Equity Research Department at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC,
where he covered the Biotechnology industry with a focus on small to mid-cap companies. Prior to Thomas Weisel, Dr. Jain was a senior associate at Smith Barney/Citigroup covering the U.S. Large Capitalization Pharmaceuticals. Before that, he was a senior associate following Biotechnology companies at Citigroup Asset Management. He joined the investment industry in 2000.
Dr. Jain was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude from the University of Rochester in Biology and Religion/Classics. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Tufts University.
