I earned my communications degree in the mid-90s and immediately joined the marketing communications department at FMCG giant Scottish & Newcastle. I managed PR agencies and events within a small team, engaging well-known brands like Becks and Kronenbourg 1664 with buyers from major UK retailers and journalists from trade publications like The
Grocer. In 1999, I took the helm as Consumer Communications Manager at the Sea Fish Industry Authority, leading national campaigns, including the Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Competition and Fish Retailer of the Year. I introduced Seafood Week, a transformative UK-wide initiative that continues to thrive, and eventually became Head of Communications, overseeing a wide spectrum of communication activities. Seeking global experience, I ventured to Hong Kong in 2005, securing a marketing role at Messe Frankfurt, a top trade show organiser. Later, at Global Sources, I rose to Group Marketing Manager. In 2010, I founded Cred Communications Ltd, earning prominent visibility on Google's front page and earning six-figure sales and global clients within the first year. I renamed my agency Mandy Queen PR in 2000 (due to the previous site being hacked - invite me out for a coffee, and I will share more). Today, my mission from Hong Kong and the UK offices is to inspire and guide organisations seeking global expansion. In my spare time, I nurture my creativity through painting and stay informed about industry trends by keeping up to date with PR, marketing, and business literature.
