Malini Saba is an experienced industrialist who, as chairwoman and CEO of Saba Corporation, directs a global operation employing more than 5,000 people across 10 verticals in more than 20 countries. Drawing upon her knowledge of critical business drivers in global markets, Malini Saba has been successful in investing in and leading business units
in fintech, pharmaceutical, real estate, and hospitality. She is most known for her successes in the industrial commodities markets for rice, oil, and gas.
Malini Saba's true passion is philanthropy. To that end, she donates 50 percent of Saba Industries Group's profits to charitable causes worldwide that support education, human rights, health, and arts and culture. Named an Ambassador of Peace by the Federation for Peace, she funds scholarships for underprivileged children and preventative health programs for women and older adults. To date, she has helped millions of women and children in Asia, South America, Africa, and the US access healthcare and educational services.
Beyond helping those in need via philanthropy, Malini Saba is an advocate for women’s empowerment. She is a self-made executive who built her company on her own, and she hopes to inspire women worldwide to pursue independence. She has authored several articles on this and similar topics for The Huffington Post. In addition, she was recently interviewed by and featured on the cover of India Today, one of the most widely circulated magazines in the country. Ms. Saba also recently appeared on the cover of the magazine Femina.
Outside of her business and philanthropic pursuits, Ms. Saba enjoys writing as a hobby and is also a passionate cook. She combined these two interests to author The Abbreviated Cook. The cookbook is composed of recipes gleaned from her worldwide travels over a 10-year period. Before launching her business career, she obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Western Australia.
