Malcolm Corbett is the founder and CEO of the Independent Networks Co-operative Association (www.inca.coop). INCA brings together the UK’s Altnets building the next generation fibre and wireless digital infrastructure in the UK, alongside supporters in the public and private sectors.Prior to setting up INCA, Malcolm ran the Community Broadband
Network, founded in 2004 to support local broadband initiatives through mentoring, advice and consultancy.Malcolm has a background in the Internet industry. He was a director of one of the first UK ISPs, Poptel, and he co-invented the .coop global Internet domain. He has also been active in social enterprise and co-operative movements in the UK and internationally. Malcolm has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Surrey.
