Lynn Schusterman is the Founder and Chair Emerita of Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, which invests in efforts to pursue more just and inclusive societies. In the U.S., Schusterman Family Philanthropies invests in criminal justice, democracy and voting rights, K-12 education, gender and reproductive equity, the family’s hometown
of Tulsa, and the Jewish community. The Philanthropies also includes Schusterman Family Philanthropies – Israel. as its philanthropic arm in Israel and the ROI Community, a global network of young Jewish change-agents.
Active in Jewish communal and philanthropic affairs for over 40 years, Lynn has been recognized for being a driving force behind the values and causes she holds close to her heart: a love for Judaism, the Jewish people and Israel; a passion for repairing the world; a belief in the potential of young people; a belief in the importance of education; a devotion to supporting the Tulsa community; and a commitment to the pursuit of excellence. Through her work in the fields of service, education, inclusivity and the prevention of child abuse and neglect, she has bettered the lives of hundreds of thousands of people locally, nationally and globally.
Lynn has held board positions for local and national organizations, including BBYO, Hillel, Repair the World, JDC, the Foundation for Tulsa Schools, and the Parent Child Center of Tulsa, among others. In 2022, she and her daughter Stacy received the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy.
