Luisa Dames is a German Born Fashion Entrepreneur. Luisa studied culture and economics and started her business development career in the commercial strategy department of Europe’s largest e-commerce fashion retailer, Zalando AG, from 2011 to 2015. Dames founded Aeyde in 2015 with the intent of building a digital-first footwear and accessories
house that championed contemporary luxury. Born as a digital-first and direct-to-consumer brand, Aeyde is now available at over 100 selected retailers such as Net-a-Porter, Moda Operandi or SSENCE and ships to 30 countries around the world. The brand is featured by the likes of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue and has gained cult status among global fashion and style influencers. As CEO of the brand Dames balances an intriguing juxtaposition of commercial reality and creativity with her team in Berlin.
