Lucy Schafer (she/her) is the Chief Community Officer at SoundMind. She has a background in computational neuroscience, applied data analysis and computer programming. She has conducted research with Georgetown University and with renowned physicians in the Washington, D.C. area. During the pandemic, she co-edited a book of case studies on
COVID-19 for doctors around the world to cite. Lucy has a passion for mental health and finding innovative solutions for such struggles. She is currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the Medical Services Corps of the U.S. Army Reserves, a TEDx Speaker and her Alma Mater is the University of Southern California.
