Luc Delany is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and VP EMEA at k-ID, a compliance infrastructure company backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed Venture Partners ($45M Series A). k-ID was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2024. Previously, Luc founded and led Delany & Co, an international advisory practice specialising in
technology regulation and business strategy for digital platforms and interactive entertainment. The firm advised Uber, Airbnb, Roblox, Supercell, TikTok, Snap, Discord, and others across the US, UK, EU, and Australia. Delany & Co was acquired in 2023. Earlier in his career, Luc was Google's first EU policy hire and held a policy role at Meta. He served as Director of EDiMA, the European trade body for major technology platforms, and as CEO of the International Social Games Association. He has founded three industry bodies and testified before regulators in four jurisdictions. He is a Fellow of the British American Project and sits on the University of Maastricht External Advisory Board of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
