Low Ka Hoe joined ST Engineering as Chief Strategy Officer on July 1, 2016. In this role, he is responsible for strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions for the company. he is also responsible for the company's US$150M corporate venture unit.
Prior to joining ST Engineering, he spent 21 years in Singtel, having held key management
positions in wide ranging roles in strategic planning, investment management, mergers and acquisitions, account management, sales, marketing and product management. These included overseas stints in Singtel’s overseas joint ventures in Indonesia and China. he also launched Singtel’s pay TV business in 2007.
he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) Degree with First Class Honours in 1994, and a Master of Engineering Degree in 1996, both from the National University of Singapore. he was awarded the Institute of Engineers Singapore Gold Medal for graduating top of his undergraduate class. he also received a Master of Science in Management Degree from Stanford University in 2001.
