Earned a bachelors of Commerce from the University of Windsor in 1987. Won the board of Governors Medal as the top student in the business department. Received chartered Accountant designation in 1989, graduated 10th in Ontario.
My work experience started as an intern accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Toronto, Canada. Worked in many
different areas of the firm, Audit, US Tax, Litigation Support and Business Valuations. In 1990, I went to work for PVS Chemicals, a Detroit based chemical distributor. I started in sales and ended my career in management.
On October 2, 1995, I left PVS and purchased Veterans Supply a small jan/san distributor in Hamtramck. Grew the business from $500,000 to a peak of 12.6MM in 2008. The business changed its name to Amerisource Industrial Supply in May 2004 after the acquisition of Michigan Glove & Safety.
