Dr. Wang is an experienced leader in the development of advanced batteries and capacitors. Before joining XG Sciences, Dr. Wang was the Principal Scientific Director at CIC Energigune in Spain, where he led its new energy research center. His experience also includes: Director of Emerging Technologies at A123 Systems leading Li-ion battery
cathode development; R&D Director at Pacific Industrial Development Corp for the development of nano materials for catalysis; VP at T/J Technologies for battery research; and IMRA America as an energy researcher. Dr. Wang earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Metallurgy from Beijing University of Science and Technology in China, and a Master’s and a PhD degree in Materials Science from the University of Michigan.
