Lisa Tobin is an executive audio producer for The New York Times.
Previously, Ms. Tobin held various positions at WBUR, including managing producer for Program Development, senior producer for Innovation, field producer and digital producer.
Ms. Tobin has received many awards for radio production throughout her career. These have included
multiple Associated Press awards, first place in the Edward R. Murrow award for Documentary and a Scripps Howard award for Digital Innovation.
Ms. Tobin received a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology, with a minor in Communications and Media Studies from Tufts University. She was born in Chicago and grew up in a small fishing town outside of Seattle, Washington.
