Römer has more than 10 years of expertise in the field of silk technology. He is co-inventor of several patent applications in this area and has been the key to transferring academic achievements into marketable products.
He is a professional in Chemistry and Biochemistry and received his doctorate from the Technische Universität München. As
cofounder of AMSilk he joined the company in 2008. He is responsible for all research and development activities of AMSilk. Since 2013 he holds the position of Managing Director of AMSilk.
