A former senior expert at Aliyun computing. LIN Chenxi led a team of more than one hundred senior engineers and set up the Apsara distributed cloud computing operating system, the largest of its kind with independent intellectual property rights in China.
Before joining Alibaba Group, Lin has worked with Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) in the
field of machine learning, computer vision, information retrieval and distributed systems.
Lin received his masters degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2005. In 2002, Lin was selected as a member of the ACM-ICPC team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Lin’s team won the champion of ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC), the first time an asian team won this award. In 2003, Lin received the first Chancellor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Award.
