Dilip Limbu is a co-founder of MooVita, leading the company’s strategic, fundraising, operation and product development efforts and build and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders.
Before founding MooVita, he was a Computer Scientist, Principal Investigator (PI) and former software lead for an Autonomous Vehicle (AV)
project at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). His works primarily focused on architecting AV system and designing the intelligent driving behaviour for the AV. He was also actively involved in various robotics R&D projects as a functional lead, where his research focused on AI based human-robot interaction, tele-presence and tele-operation. Of his 13 years stint with A*STAR, he was PI and Co-PI for 8 years, where part of his responsibilities includes writing R&D project proposals, project costing, budget allocation, manpower and project resource planning, and engaging key stakeholders on the progress of the project.
He received my B.Sc. in Computer Science and M.Sc. (with Distinction) in Information Technology for Manufacture, from the Coventry University, UK in 1997 and 1998 respectively. He received his PhD degree from the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand in 2008. From 2008 to 2016, he worked as a Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Agency for Science, Research and Technology (A*STAR), Singapore. From 2000 to 2004, he worked as an Associate Research Fellow at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), Singapore.
