Lev is an experienced entrepreneurial and corporate leader in the education and publishing sectors.
Lev's early career was spent in technology and telecommunications in the Chicago area, first as a principal and part-owner of an Internet startup, then as head of Internet marketing for Fortune 100 telecom firm Ameritech, now part of
AT&T.
Lev entered the education sector in 2003 upon joining Kaplan Inc., where he held a succession of roles culminating as General Manager in Kaplan’s K-12 business.
After leaving Kaplan in 2007, Lev served as COO of teacher training firm Teachscape and then as Chief Product Officer for The Princeton Review. In each of those roles, Lev was instrumental to the turnaround and successful acquisition of those businesses by private equity firms.
Having learned in the education sector the unique power of assessments, in 2013 Lev founded CredSpark. CredSpark helps publishers, brands, and agencies leverage quizzes to engage audiences, gather data, and generate leads. CredSpark’s clients include a growing list of SIIA/ABM members as well as global brands.
Lev holds a BA from Grinnell College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He resides in Brooklyn, NY with his family.
